Sure, but presales for Detective Chinatown seem high too (the first part did over 800m 2 years ago).

 

And both Monkey King previous films did over 1b Yuan.

 

Are there any prevision of total gross for these films? At least, those three films seem billion grossers. And probably Monster Hunt 2 has 3b potential.

I know, I just checked. I have a feeling at least one of them will disappoint. MH2 will explode. I wouldn't be surprised with Mermaid numbers if it's good.

No datas so early. Only know The Mermaid made ￥30M on OD 5.5 days before opening. Journey to the West 2 reached that 8 days before opening. Maybe we can expect Monster Hunt 2 is the first movie which break $200M on opening weekend in China.

$600M for 2D Titanic. Most people hope it can make $500M. But I don’t expect that high. Any results over the first one($393M) is great for me. Fate of the Furious showed us that it’s not easy to make far higher especially for whose previously one is nearly $400M.
