Is he the only one who has seen this masterpiece here ?

It is, indeed, a masterpiece. Prepare to laugh  There is some cool D PORN in there, tho.

@Chewy Why haven't you seen it yet? You are failing me.

No longer sure about what we can discuss guys without getting banned... Uhhhhh man that Zootopia is sure something!

Pretty simple: don't insult or berate other people, don't constantly post about how awesome/horrible BVS is, or how awesome/horrible it's doing.

Moderation in all forms. :)

People were calling each other trolls. Also someone posted a gif of Liam Neeson's dick, not to snitch but it was @CoolioD1

Now tbf I can see how that massive hog swinging around might send the mods into a shock.

So, let's try to guess the next weekends grosses for BVS:

Weekend 1: 166 million

Weekend 2: 53 million ( 68% drop )

Now I don't know about the next weekends. So, I'll try to be as pessimistic as possible and imagine that there'll be always a 50% drop. Yeah, too pessimistic, but I like it more that way. MOS had 14 weeks and even most of the weekends drops were smaller than 50%. So, that's why I'm being pessimistic.

Weekend 3: 26 million ( basically a 50% drop from weekend 2 )

Weekend 4: 13 million

Weekend 5: 6,5 million

Weekend 6: 3.2 million

Weekend 7: 1.6 million

Weekend 8: 800.000

Weekend 9: 400.000

Weekend 10: 200.000

Weekend 11: 100.000

Weekend 12: 50.000

Weekend 13: 25.000

Weekend 14: 12.000

Note that we don't know how BVS will perform during next weeks ( so, I'm ignoring weekly grosses and only focusing on weekends for now )

If you add all the possible weekend grosses considering a 50% drop, BVS has more 50 or 51 million left to do.

So, we now have 209 million domestic. More 53 million and we'll get to 262 million. More 51 million ( from next weekends ) and we'll get 313 million. We'll have weekly numbers to add. So, I think we might get 350 million domestic, but nothing above that.

An easier way is this

Assuming it does 50m and 17 million m-th.

67m for the week begets 67m(1x the current week) for the rest of the run @ 50% drops.

1.5x CW with 40% drops

.66x CW with 60% drops

340 is the max

I think there will be 60% drop or two mixed in maxing it at 330m

It'll be around $670-80m ww after this w/e which should do around $120-125m ww.   So $700m and $800m won't be a problem.  $900m is the milestone up for grabs

Shoot. I meant to write $800 million. (not $700 million).

By the way this is going, $800 million may be a problem. What's stopping the movie from free falling from now on?

Bad publicity like the headlines will be this weekend will turn off potential moviegoers.

I don't understand this part. This is a numbers forum after all, any talk of if it's doing shit or great would be on topic in any weekend, weekday thread surely?

That post got deleted but I'm pretty sure you guys wouldn't be this strict had it opened huge & held well (like it's been on almost every other movie). Food for thought.

I'll see it eventually! I'm trying to restrain myself and not spend theater $ on stuff I just want to laugh at. Budgeting myself and not throwing away cash, guess I'm officially an old man :sadben:

Wow!!! Only 19 million from overseas gross ( Friday ? )

At this rate, next weekend won't have foreign grosses anymore. 800 million might be in jeopardy now. I don't know what to say. That's really bad.

I guess things will change forever.

I am still waiting for your live reactions while watching it. I want an in-depth analysis to THE BUTLER's performance.

I'm genuinely excited for Jungle Book especially with the early reactions.  That is about it for this month.  But can't wait for Civil War and X-Men: Apocalypse in May.

I have the same opinion, but replace Civil War with Through the Looking Glass. That and Apocalypse are the only May movies I'll be interested in seeing.

I've been anticipating Jungle Book since the first trailer came out but nothing else looks interesting this month. The Boss, The Huntsman, and Criminal all look too generic to be enjoyable, and Hardcore Henry and Keanu look like good ideas were just padded with filler to make them feature-length.
