It is truly sad times 666 - This is the magic number for this STOM and the task is simple: Rank the following ten predictions based on how close they will get to 666. For each prediction, only the first 3 digits will be taken into account and decimal places etc. will be ignored. So if one answer is $466.25M, another is $8.72M and another is $1,450. The order in this SOTM will be: 1st 455 2nd 872 3rd 145 So here are the ten predictions to rank: 1. Finding Dory's total gross at the end of the game 2. Pete's Dragon total gross at the end of the game 3. Mechanic's OW gross 4. Ghostbuster's final week PTA 5. Jungle Book final weekend gross 6. Don't Breathe second weekend drop 7. Hell or High Water total gross 8. Central Intelligence's gross on Saturday September 3rd 9. Light's Out final weekend gross 10. Suicide Squads PTA for Sunday September 4th So how do you score points? Simples: You can place as many or as few films as you like throughout the top ten. Let's say like the following: 1. 2. 3. Dory 4. Light's Out 5. 6. Jungle Book 7. 8. Mechanic 9. 10. Ghostbusters For every prediction in the exact correct place, you score 8000 points For every prediction incorrect by just place, you score 4000 points For every prediction incorrect by two places, you score 2000 points For every prediction incorrect by 3 places, you score 0 points For every prediction incorrect by 4 places, you score minus 3000 points For every prediction incorrect by 5 places, you score minus 6000 points For every prediction incorrect by 6 places or more, you score minus 10000 points If every prediction is in the exact correct place, increase your total score by 75% (essentially 14,000 per prediction ) If every prediction is within 1 place, increase your total score by 50% If every prediction is within 2 places, increase your total score by 25% (and round up to the nearest 1000 points) Abstain is 1000 points, Deadline is Thursday at 11:59pm Enjoy for the final time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
