EXCELLENT HOLD FOR HR

Meh, was hoping it would do better than that. For a movie with such a muted opening and supposedly amazing WOM on an inflated weekend this is honetly not that great a hold.

THE ACCOUNTANT makes an estimated $4.57M weekend, down 22.1%, for $77.72M total through five weekends. #TheAccountant

If The Accountant made 4.57 million in it's 5th weekend which is more than Affleck's directorial venture The Town's 3.997 million at the same juncture during it's theatrical run and considering that both has almost identical theater counts at the same point, does it mean that The Accountant has a fair shot at 90 million+ at the moment???

I have a feeling its gonna do very well in Japan when its released in January (i think)

I'm not sure about that, comicbook movies in Japan rarely are a big success...But I hope they'll like it for sure :)

I don't understand why Disney is going to release DS in Japan on January next year.

What's the point of waiting so damn long?

By then, the hype would be non-existent and the people would have pirated the movie and watched it.

Piracy isn't an issue for Japan. Most movies are released few months after their domestic.
