Ofc, that's usually the case. Although, remember when a bunch of users tanked Citizen Kane's scores so The Dark Knight would surpass it? Possibly an isolated scenario, but I wouldn't really use it at all tbh

Well, it's the most comprehensive database of motion pictures known to man, and if something has a high rating with hundreds of thousands of votes, odds are there's something to take from it; even if there is some petty up/downvoting.

I'm just saying that I don't look at the star rating system. The database is still very important, I agree.

Absolutely lives up to the hype and reviews.  Cannot believe what Peele has pulled off.  I've always said good comedy and good horror go hand in hand but this is a game changer.  If this can hit 25 OW i think it will be a real contender for 100 domestic. WOM is going to be absolutely INSANE.

As I said in the tracking thread, I don't think Collide is even doing $1M for the weekend. Marketing is completely nonexistent.

It was shot years ago and has been languishing on the shelves as Relativity's gone under until Open Road picked it up. Poor Felicity Jones is about to endure another pathetic grosser after A Monster Calls.

Collide looked kinda cool from the trailers but it's something I'll wait till HV for.  Get Out, John Wick, Cure for Wellness, and Logan are priorities for me right now.  The issue is getting someone to see it with me.

15 years old.  Needs parental accompaniment for R-rated movies.  Mom doesn't like violent movies.

 

Only way I can see it is if I go with my dad, but he's in Virginia about an hour and a half away.
