Wait why would this keep you from seeing it? :(

His dad is probs like "wow that's movie against racism, clearly an anti-Trump message. Isn't it ridiculous how the liberal media all paints us as racists?"

Yeah. The movie seems pretty centrist in its message with enough stuff to piss off both sides, but I'm not taking my chances

I'm assuming Wrath's dad was also one of the people who boycotted Rogue One for having a female lead and a multicultural cast.

You should rent Moonlight and watch it with him.  He's the crowd that needs to see it.

If that's to edgy, maybe watch Zootopia on Netflix as a gateway drug of sorts.

I don't see how he's part of the crowd that "needs" to see Moonlight? As for Zootopia, it's an amazing movie but I'd argue the message will only land on the young. Once you are set in your ways, changing them because of a movie is all but impossible.

No, but we both agreed it was a boring movie

He was fine with Zootopia.

I'll be seeing this tomorrow night.

The last time the trailer for this played in a theater, people were laughing at it. I don't know if that's a good thing, but whatever.

Considering it's a horror comedy, I'd say that's a good sign.

It's also psychological horror.

I know the movie supposedly has some humor but I didn't find trailers very funny.

I'm just saying that I don't look at the star rating system. The database is still very important, I agree.

Looks like you were right: http://www.slashfilm.com/imdb-watch-are-dark-knight-fanboys-burying-the-godfather/

Yep. Too bad Interstellar was in the top 50. Guys, it was crap. Move on. Let it go. It will never be a good movie

Can any movie change people who are set in their ways? I don't think so.

15 years old.  Needs parental accompaniment for R-rated movies.  Mom doesn't like violent movies.

Only way I can see it is if I go with my dad, but he's in Virginia about an hour and a half away.

Hire a hobo or something to be your parent. Or buy a ticket for a different movie and sneak in
