It's ridiculous though that none of these Superhero movies get nominated - as if the costumes aren't difficult and complex and just harder to make visually and narrative work than most historical recreations or even fantasy pieces.

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed with it but in costumes, production design and hair & make-up its very deserving.   I also voted it for Best Comedy pickings are slim in that category.
