WEEKEND THREAD! FRI #s: Lego: 8M: 50SD: 6.6M: GW: 5.8: JW2: 4.1 (pg 8)

Also, all these quiet weekends really just give me more reason to think BATB is going to be an absolute MONSTER.  Logan getting glowing reviews might get us the first 100 OW of the year, but Beauty is essentially a four quardrant film that 1. has been highly anticipated since we saw the first number of views for the trailer, 2. has been aggressively marketed by Disney in the way that only they can and 3. is coming at the time of a family film/event film drought.  I've thought New Moon's OW was the target for a while but I'm starting to think 150-160 is well within reach.

If Wolverine at the height of his popularity didn't make it to a 100 million opening weekend I don't see how Logan is going to either. But then again who thought Deadpool what open as high as it did. So I guess anything can happen.

LEGO Batman on its way to $175-205 million DOM.

50 Shades held better than expected, so $125 million DOM looks likely.

Tough to see John Wick 2 miss $100 million DOM, but $80-90 million is still excellent.

Split is having some monster legs. It might top The Conjuring's multi.

Everything held as well as expected (Dog, Hidden Figures, LLL, Lion). New releases seem to be non-starters.
