What did people do in the old days when all you had were caves?

Fortunately back then all we had were sundials. Or you just looked at the sun in the sky and made a guess. Simpler times, but also less stressful*.

* except having to worry about being eaten by bears, mammoths, saber-tooth tigers, and alligators.

Don't forget hunger, exposure, pests, disease, cannibalism, tribal warfare and general lack of 99.9% of the facilities, infrastructure and products we now take for granted. But yeah, no stress.

If we wait a couple of years, we might go back to that post the nuclear fallout.

Kudos to the WB marketing team for sure though. They saw the low tracking numbers and released the best piece of advertising for the movie in conjunction with the embargo release. Realizing that most of the GA really doesn't care if the money shots are given away in the trailer and actually need those money shots for the GA to come to theaters was a timely realization for sure.

Gotta love the enthusiasm in this room in this truly historic March.

When was the last time outside summer that we have three consecutive 50M+ openers? Purely great!

Now I've got to change my comment to three consecutive 60M+ openers!!!!

Not even any given summer can easily beat this feat.

And historic March continues...

I honestly think the WB team are the best in the business when it comes to marketing. They are really, really good at getting butts in seats. They got BvS that giant OW, made Tarzan not completely flop, made Suicide Squad a huge success and now Kong is surpassing all of our expectations. WB is doing quite nicely for themselves lately, IMO.
