It is quite literally all the everyone is talking about (excluding the select friends who are Game of Thrones fans).I was working when the trailer came on in front of This Means War and multiple different groups of girls (and some guys) were really excited.Do you have any numbers -- book sales -- for Australia? If Canada follows the 10% of US rule (which it does fairly well) then we can assume 2 million Canadian sales and 5 million book sales for the international markets. Not very good for the movie's OS outlooks IMO.When Twilight was released in November 2008 the series had sold 25M copies worldwide, 20M of those were domestically. It only sold 5M overseas and yet the OS gross matched the domestic gross. These things usually break out in the US first and then they get going overseas once they are released and become established brands. It will do fine IMO. Original properies reach these heights without built in fanbases all the time. The movie should be able to appeal on its own as well and if it breaks out like we think in America the buzz can catch worldwide too.
