First of all I love Hancock.  But even if you do not care for the filmed you honestly think it's anywhere near as bad as the Dark Knight Rises LOL

I did not even have the Dark Knight Rises on my list anywhere. Show for it to win number one it must have gotten a landslide amount of support from almost everyone else.

It was a joke response to the "Batman vs Robin" comment

this will be the list I submit for posterity:

1. Garbage Pail Kids

2. Jaws: The Revenge

3. Superman IV

4. The Howling III

5. Teen Wolf Too

6. Cry Wilderness

7. Silent Night, Deadly Night 2

8. Police Academy 4

9. Masters of the universe

10. Revenge of the Nerds II

Good googling 'worst 1987 films' there, gumshoe.

If we somehow manage to get Garbage Pail Kids to #1 for 1987, 1987's best movie according to BOT will still not be worse than 2012's best movie.

Princess Bride or bust.

I was looking at the list of 1987 movies, and I was like NOOOPE to 90% of the well reviewed ones. Maurice and The Dead seemed interesting, but they are nearly impossible to find.

Seems like a uber shitty year to me.

the 80s are probably to me, cinema's worst decade, but every year got at least 20 real good movies.

John Huston got nothing on Nolan anyway

I'll take John Carter over a good chunk of the top 25 including TDKR. Obviously flawed but at least it remembers to be fun sometimes. Also, Lynn Collins.

anyway out of the remotely realistic possibilities in 1987 I say RoboCop for #1. It's not too late for you yet to see the light and accept Verhoeven as your true lord and savior.

I'd probably do that

i'll give john carter this, it was a slightly less brain piercingly aggravating than warcraft. like 3% less. both felt like some bullshit written in the notebook of some napoleon dynamite-ass dork and i'm being bukakke'd by the pus from their zits for two hours.
