Residuals only apply for post-theatrical revenue. In terms of profit participation and stuff, I imagine it would apply (and would probably only be a few dollars).

I wonder what math they use (33% of the BO, half to the new movie the others sharing the rest...), because it is such low number usually anyway maybe they just don't care.
