The Box Office Buzz and Tracking Thread: Electric Boogaloo

Recommended Posts

The new theater by me that opened a few months ago just did a massive overhaul on their prices to be more competitive with AMC. They added in senior and kids pricing on par with AMC, and 3D/PLF upcharges are now only two dollars. Regular tickets are still about a dollar more expensive than AMC at most showtimes, but this is a massive improvement that should increase business once word is out.

Sales between 2018-08-21 01:00:00 and 2018-08-21 16:00:00 are missing.

At least it can be compared to MI6 and Teen titans then (very loosely since different genres, but still)

I wouldn't be surprised if Happytime goes sub-$10M at this point. In fact, I would bet on it.

This is not going to happen when it’s outselling every summer comedy that isn’t Life of the Party.
