Ok this will be a SUPER IMPERFECT science but I remember doing Endgame's 2nd Friday at my theater and I'm curious how accurate it'll be so I thought I'd try to comp NWH 1st Saturday against it. My previews comp for NWH vs EG over indexed by 14.8% so I'll apply that here.

1st Sat PSm will be much worse than 2nd fri. Though I guess it cancels a little with Endgame being bigger overall. So coming a little under that 80 should be reasonable. Unfortunately 2nd fri to 2nd fri won’t work because Xmas Eve.

 

I think the Alamo/mega are suggesting some 4-8% Sat increase, which would be on the high end of the expected range, but I really hope we get one Sat PS update from alpha at the end of the night to go along with these fri updates.

It makes me sad there is good demand for this iconic franchise and its got to go against a record breaking Spidey and HBO Max. Its like being run over and then they stop and back over your corpse to make sure of it.

Probs taking tracking off all the way until The Batman, unless either Morbius or Uncharted looks to be breaking out.  Give next to no chance w/Uncharted and perhaps a small one w/Morbius thanks to the halo effect from V2/NWH (and good reception to the latest trailer).

 

Maaaaaybe Scream if it looks to catch fire, but I just took a cursory glance at Arden for opening night and went "Nah".
