Thank y'all. I'm totally fine, I honestly didn't know I was in an accident until after it happened. As for the insurance, I think I'm on my parents' plan so I hope it covers most of it, but we'll see tomorrow.

Well, I drove 40 min both ways to go see Book of Henry at the indie theater 25 miles away in horrible rain and night driving but I was totally fine. Then, after I dropped my friend off, I noticed the gas gauge was pretty close to empty (like the light was on) so I figured the best thing for me to do would be to stop for gas before going home. So I went to the gas station and pulled up accidentally parallel with a police car. Unfortunately, I was way too close to the tank, so instead of pulling through, I was an idiot and backed out. Then, I figured that if I went back to my same station, in order to maneuver myself well, I could potentially hit the cop, which I definitely didn't want to do. So instead, I was gonna go to the next lane over. Here's a diagram I guess

So when I was trying to move over, I hit the right side of the front bumper into the giant brick pole holding up the gas station. I was actually thankful the cop was there because I had no idea what to do, but he helped me both reverse it and then get all the stuff in order so he could report on it well. I don't have a crash report from him right now but he gave me his contact info saying he could get me one within the next week if the cost exceeds $1000 (which looks likely).

His character is pretty divisive, but I don't think anyone can deny that Thewlis is giving a great performance. The character is made to be irritating with his long winded monologues that go nowhere.

Ha, that kinda sounds like his character in Naked (he gives one of the best performances you'll ever see in that) with charisma turned off.
