First Iron Man is still one of my favourites of all time, but I don't think many people rate it as highly as I do.

I marathoned the entire franchise in one night to get ready for TLK. I didn't like anyone and I skipped half of the second one. But I really loved the entire third act of the third one. Somehow I actually felt tension in a movie about characters I either downright hated or didn't really care for.

I rewatched District 9 after seeing Neill Blomkamp's new short, and that's still a hell of an action sci-fi flick. I also continue to be blown away by the CGI work on the prawns
