I saw Spider-Man yesterday btw and I can kind of see why it's not holding that well. It's really fun (like pretty much every MCU film) and has some really good humor, but it doesn't offer anything new whatsoever. Michael Keaton was fantastic, though. Easily the best MCU villain except Loki and the best part of the movie IMO.

Giving a 24% Sunday drop, Spidey could drop below 51%. I am practically thrilled.

6.34 + 8.8 + 6.69 (-24%) = 21.83 (-50.6% from 44.2) / 251.5 cume

I think it's set for ~305 dom (2.60x) which is good (but honestly a little lower than I expected after the ow).

This week, Spidey is showing the stabilization it needed to guarantee some late legs...performing better than Apes and Valerian should also mean Spidey (like WW before him) keeps theaters longer than some of the newer releases, which is key to getting the dog days of summer legs...now, to keep up and maybe even improve on the stabilizing drops:)...

As for Apes, he's looking at a 64-65% drop if he nudges around $20M - a little worse than Spidey, and he's looking at major showing drops and small screens next weekend...he'll probably need to show a lot of the same stabilization as Spidey showed this week to not just fall right out of theaters...50% drops to last week's weekdays and then a 50%ish drop next weekend (to account for all the lost seats), and he'll give himself a shot for some late legs...

DM3 12.71 (34.3% drop) for 213.32 cume.

Adding 3x the weekend more will give it 251.5 dom.

Emoji will give it some comp but 245-255 seems like a safe range.

Idk why but I have the urge to rewatch Power Rangers today.

To be honest I'm surprised Lionsgate is so gung ho on these TV to movie adaptations: Power Rangers, Pony, Miraculous. I think they're trying to find a new Divergent esque franchise in a way.
