i think many critics have already pointed out that the immediate need to compare every story targeted at women to a lifetime movie/show comes across as pretty sexist but i'm not gonna mention that.

Not a bad point actually. I'll own up. Though honestly my go to was always always USA Network until Mr Robot. Even the Discovery Channel has good shows now! Not a lot left. But....MTV woulda  worked.

But also I don't associate BLL target audience with women because the people on my Twitter who love it are all straight white dudes of film Twitter who can't go five posts eithout mentioning Carol. But I DO like it representing well for women. I just don't  think it was very good. Night Of was fantastic. Pilot would have been my best movie of 2016.
