Just made myself a damn good chicken breast. I put some lemon juice on it but couldn't taste any of it. Maybe I put too little on it? idk

It's like you wanted some of those Tele grilled cheese sandwich likes but then decided to sacrifice them so you could be brutally honest instead

Maybe if you had a toasted cheese sandwich as a side.

Edit:Damn. I’ll just use my mod powers to hide the post above.

How'd you cook it?  Was it just in a marinade?

FYI - Zest goes much farther than juice if you want a "staying power" of lemon...a lot of times, the acid you use in a dish is to balance out flavors, not to actually "taste" the acid...so if you want to taste acid, but you are using a salt, sweet, or spiciness, you may need more than you think you need for it to "stand out", since the initial add would be balancing...

Ina has a decent recipe if you want a lemon chicken...https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/lemon-chicken-breasts-recipe-1923711

I put some salt, pepper, and lemon juice on it before putting it in the pan with butter and canola oil.

You have to bath the chicken breast in a mixture of salt and lemon juice.

Before I did that, I used to spill the lemon juice with the chicken already in the pan. Never felt the lemon taste doing that way.

Is your mother so petty about her argument with you about introverted/extroverted that she no longer cooks for you?

I am just asking why he has to make his own chicken breast. Man needs to be 'cooking' burgers and fries at McDonalds for minimum wage, not his own meal :sparta:
