DM3 is a smash everywhere and it also dropped big from Minions like everywhere else.

Emoji was the only kids movie in August, the biggest box office month of the year, it got lucky. It is the biggest horror movie of all time here.

How do you explain Baywatch over La La Land?

Paddington 2 had a massive £8.2m opening here in the UK.

Doubt it’ll get a big release in the US considering Weinstein have it there.

Great for Orient Express and Happy Death Day! Good for Thor too!

Paddington2 will get a release in China next year. The first cross 16M

Incredible increase for Thor. Unless it drops like a rock next weekend, 300m is almost a forgone conclusion.

It might due to JL but even then it’ll rebound the next weekend.

It'll drop somewhat "big" next weekend unless Justice League underperforms, but thanksgiving weekend should help soften the eventual blow.

Fun Fact: WDAS was supposed to make Gnomeo but Lassiter said f that and pushed it to Touchstone.

You mean release ;) maybe once upon a time it was part of their behind the scenes work in progress but the film itself was Like The Wild and Valiant - films not made by but released by WDP.

There was also some fallout with the production company and major BTS drama that helped push it to Touchstone at the last moment. Part of the speculation of the lack of $100m was that it might have had to due with contractual obligations if it crossed that mark. Either way, there was no faith in it and by 2011 Disney was trying to rid itself of all of its extra ties to other production companies (ala Zemekis' Mars Needs Moms, etc).

Wow, it could beat every MCU movie there yet couldn't even beat The Emoji Movie or Fifty Shades Darker?

Funny book trash doesn't matter here.
