Seeing somebody try to say ESB wasn’t divisive upon release is hilarious. Movie split the fandom down the middle since it was darker and apparently not what the hardcore fans wanted. Took years for it to finally be seen as the masterpiece it is.

Thanks for the laugh though.

So is $100M dead for Ferdinand? :whosad:

(probably means Blue Sky is getting sold, my bet is either Paramount, WB or CJohn’s favorite: Lionsgate gets it.)

road-chip did 14.3 ow after 4.1 od and 86 dom (6x). can see ferdi legging it better after a similar od. is not a tri-quel like road-chip and probably has better reception.

still think 14.5-15 ow and 100 dom (6.7-6.9x) is on the cards.

edit:

Blue Sky have decent movies. Nothing horrid that stands out like Sony Animations Emoji and Smurfs.

(granted a couple of IAs were not good)

Speaking of trailers, I got a Wrinkle in Time. That was my first time seeing the trailer and what in the world was that? Had no clue what was happening. I like Ava and want her to kill it, but is she going for a soft reboot Alice or?...

The 80s song in it kinda bopped though.

Cinemascore might not mean anything but it means more than Flixster in this case when hardcore fans are on a mission to drive the score down.
