baumer
But @Barnack you can't use films that have already been in release for longer than 4 or 5 days. If you want to compared apples to apples, you have to use films that were released on Easter weekend.
WrathOfHan
So far, the live action films increased yesterday. That never happens Even Sherlock Gnomes barely dropped!

Exactly that was my point, not that big of a sample size to judge RPO numbers, not many recent enough movies eastern movie that reflect the new bigger tuesday bump and that had good legs Easter weekend release. Maybe it is a good performance, but maybe not.... At least for me hard to tell. The list above was to show the increase in the Tuesday phenomenon in the very recent time in general not for this particular Tuesday. LonePirate
Taraji’s best performance to date is from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, not Empire.

efialtes76
RPO $5.4M vs G.I.Joe $4.M. +35% for Parzival and Artemis.
picores
I see RPO finishing over 150m DOM due to good legs. 130m looks like the very low-end looking at G.I.Joe.
stripe
Nice! Increasing the gap with GI Joe. If it drops 30% this Wednesday, it will gross 3.8M. Let's say Thursday number is 3.6M. At this point, I don't get why there is anyone expecting a worse weekend gross than Gi Joe's 20.9M
