Avengers has started at 9:30 at my theater every day since Friday. Not uncommon when a BIG film opens.

IceFire9yt
Looking at the Wednesday drops of the other big openers, we have: TFA: +1.8% TLJ: -16.6% JW: -18.7% TA: -23% BP: -29.6% AoU: -28.3% CW: -34.8% Almost looks like there's a correlation here... though I'm not going to put much stock into it. Still going with any drop better than The Avengers is spectacular- so 18M is my target.

JW was also in summer so it really needs to be compared to the other 4. A drop of 25% should be expected with a hope that it drops less.

I realize it will be a bit of an unusual thing or outlier, but so many days can be categorized as such. Almost anything can be excused as a "this or that special circumstance". I still wanna see those numbers =)
narniadis
Thats a really solid Tuesday #. Would have loved to see it be flat but with the level it is playing at it truly is doing what it can.

I know that it's a few hundred more than Latin Lover, but I would think that with the inclusion of Anna Faris and being a remake, it would be a film that would appeal to more than just Hispanic audiences and have done solid business in around 2,000-2,250 theaters as a decent counterprogrammer.
