This will *definitely* get better reviews from *established* critics than NWH, and it will arguably be a much better film.  We'll see if it beats Shang-Chi in reception...

We all know why the BP audience score was lower than the other two. The BIG question (and saddest one) is whether the ever growing racist sentiment in the USA will hurt WF's audience score. And the bigger question is whether growing racism will hurt its box office numbers. It's sad and pathetic, but it's where we are.

The answer is yes it will hurt the audience score (but who cares?) and no it won't hurt the box office.

I mean disregarding that the first film came out during the middle of the Trump administration, the first movie's RT score is from a different era. With Verified RT scores, only for users who bought tickets on Fandango, it makes it almost impossible to review bomb. The only reviews are from people who purposely bought tickets to see Black Panther 2. Why would a racist see a film called "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever"?

For instance, The Woman King got major review bombs from alt-righters and MAGAites. But its RT Aud. score is at 99%. So yeah, the movie will be fine.

The first Black Panther came out before RT made it much more difficult to review bomb the audience score, though. Unless WOM is on the level of Thor 4 I don't see WF's score going as low.

Edit: @Eric Carey beat me to it lol

Verified audience score  is more reliable it will be fine.

Racism affects on non verified scores ,it's effects on box office is neglible at best . It's all about GA reception now.

BP on IMDb has 2.9% 1/10s similar to the avengers endgame.

Was there review bombing ,yes but it was mild at best .

It's no where near TLJ, ROP,Ms marvel, she hulk etc....

That vocal minority has a considerable effect on discourse but miniscule effect on box office. GA don't give a shit .
