But i don't want to limit it to just "sad drama", these franchises just don't stir anything in me. I watch them, i acknowledge the cool stunts but that's pretty much the extent of it.

They’re doing their job then.

But yes, particularly in the Craig era (and especially with NTTD) they constantly made the mistake of trying to make bond deep. He isn’t, he never will be, don’t even try because it’s not why the character endures. Casino Royale’s ‘the bitch is dead’ is practically an affirmation of that. And then they had to ruin it by carrying on the vesper story.

I think the movie will blow up with the good will from Fallout and TGM, there’s no stopping it. I really don’t understand how Barbie would undercut it. Why on God’s good Earth would someone prefer Barbie over MI7?

Girls and gays, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Exactly.Barbie is going to be huge with that audience it seems.   movies for different  types of core  audiences. Old straight men better deliver and not sit at home waiting for Mission to be on P+. Of course it also has to share that audience with Oppenheimer.

Don’t worry, bisexuals will go watch both Barbie and MI7, industry is saved

Some Straight men will go to both too.  I will be seeing both. Although I will be seeing Barbie with my friends and their 7 year old daughter. Would not go by myself.

You can't prove this

Paddington 2 was over 200 reviews at 100% then went to 99 because of some dipshit who wanted clicks and gave it a  rotten review.

Edit: Or it was Paddington 1 I can't remember. Also apparently Get Out did from what the other poster said.

You’re definitely thinking of the second one. I distinctly remember that.

Just saw this. Thrilling, intense, exciting, entertaining, stylish, with drama, humor, and of course great actions. Also loved the characters and what the actors did with them. WOM will be amazing.

A+ Cinemascore or prolly A because of Part 1 effect?

It's how they work. Lady Bird had no negative reviews till like over 150 or something and was going to become the best reviewed movie ever, then it got one negative and went down to 99. Same with Paddington 2 which got it's first negative after 200+ reviews. Basically if there's a negative, it will be 99% forever.
