Impact
Well my internet modem went out yesterday! But it is back! Anyway:Gravity 3PM, About 40% full, mostly older people. Trailers: Out of the Furnace: Looks decent, I thought it was amusing seeing Casey Affleck playing Batman's brother. Grudge Match: Hey it's Rocky vs. Raging Bull! Some laughs. Moment Men: Looks good, couple laughs and "I want to see that" Jack Ryan: Finally a trailer! Looks really good, quite a bit of talking. Wonder when this will come out? Hobbit: Really good reaction. Looks great. 47 Ronin: Laughs at the end with Mr. Reeves and some random Asian actresses "acting" Movie: Pretty good. Though I did get sick sometimes during it. Ms. Bullock did a fantastic job. The 3d was not that bad, but I would hate to see this in IMAX (You can get pretty sick as I said). Visuals were great. Though I'm sure younger people will find this very boring (I know I would have). Not sure I will see this again, but still was made quite well. B+/A-
Wormow
Gravity 3D 6:20PM - 50% Full, from kids to adults Trailers: Captain Phillips: No reaction Thor 2: Little chatter, grandma is excited for it and wants to go opening day The Hobbit Teaser: No reaction I enjoyed it, though I went in with such high expectations that maybe I came out a little underwhelmed. I really liked the use of the score and there being no sound in space. A few scary moments too which I enjoyed. Not sure why but when the music went really loud a couple of people in my theater started laughing, and other times they were laughing too at unnecessary moments. Blankments
Gravity in IMAX 3D October 5, 4:30 PM, 90% full Portage 16 IMAX, Portage, IN Trailers (no reactions) Ender's Game The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Fantastic film. The audience, though packed, was very into the movie. There were a few obnoxious laughs and also some talking at points but it was overall a great crowd. No applause at the end though. ainsleyb
Film: Gravity in Imax 3dCinema: Silvercity, londonTime: 13:10Crowd: 65%Trailers: NoneThe film:Very good. Its near faultless on a technical level, the direction, effects and cinematography are all top notch and the first sequence in partixular is enthralling and tense. All of the action scenes are aided greatly by the score which really adds to the sense of dread. Its also the first film ive seen in 3d where I was glad I paid the extra money. Bullock is very good although its too early to say if shes good enough for a second oscar. Clooney plays Clooney although he is still likeable. I thought the script was fairly cliche on the other hand and it didnt thrill me enough consistently for me to consider it one of the best films of the past few years as it just lacks that little extra something. But overall as an experience it comes highly recommended, although it didnt quite live up to the enormous hype for me. But then again nothing ever does.7/10

Blankments
Captain Phillips October 24, 12:50 PM, 2% full (it was me, my mom, and two other people who arrived late. Portage 16 IMAX, Portage, IN Trailers (no reactions) Grudge Match Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit Ender's Game Monuments Men Weird experience before the movie. I walk in with my mom five minutes before showtime and the theater was pitch black. None of the lights were on which was really weird. We reported it to the manager and he was all "Oops, sorry." But then when the "turn off your cell phones" screen started, it stayed on the screen for about five minutes until I went to talk to the manager again. She looked pretty embarrassed, but called it up to the projectionist. As soon I arrived back to the theater, the curtains opened and the trailers started. Onto the movie itself, it was pretty awesome despite the lack of a crowd. My mom laughed hard at the line "Danny needs to apply himself more in school," since, well, my name is Danny and I'm still in school. Movie itself was awesome but the audience, being nonexistent, didn't do much. No one was crying at the end either. *shrug*

Impact
Thor 2 2:05 PMAbout 85% full, mostly adults Trailers: Delivery Man: Quite a bit of laughs, I don't think it looks that funny, but to each there own. Catching Fire: I finally saw a trailer for it, and dang it is short. Some whispers. Jack Ryan: Nothing. Robocop: Some laughs at the part about robophobic, I do have to admit that was kind of an amusing line. Captain America: Some talking, looks really good. X-men: Looks really good, pretty long for a teaser. Movie: Very good, better then the first one. Natalie Portman is such a cutie. The audience loved it, the part with a cameo by a certain someone got a fantastic reaction, loved that part also. Ending got a few gasps. The mid credits sequence was....odd. The end credits scene was not that bad. When compared to the other Avenger films, I say it is not as good as IM1 or IM3. And defiantly not as good as The Avengers, but better then Thor 1, Cap and TIH. B+
