Morieris
The Star 150 PM 28% full, there's always some stragglers with five kids who are late, but everyone was pretty well behaved. Trailers: Hotel Transylania 3 - few murmurs. Peter Rabbit - stunned silence. I'm not kidding. My mother was interested, but I couldn't stop thinking about that person's comment in the thread - "why can't we get the Peter Rabbit that Beatrix Potter wrote??" Ferdinand - no feedback. Sherlock Gnomes - a few chuckes that died quickly. Early Man - no response, but that was the first time I saw the trailer and I was pretty impressed. Some of the kids (and myself) got restless but there was the occasional laugh. I actually groaned when I saw it was distributed by Sony pictures animation and wondered why we couldn't get Rio 3 instead. Maybe because Rio is by Fox so nevermind me. Myreligious mother liked it. It was super early in the trailer and from one kid who was like 10, I assume he recognized the animation style and didn't like Chicken Run or something?

Morieris
Coco 1:35 PM Maybe 40% full? Which was extremely impressive for this non diverse, relatively conservative area. Trailers Peter Rabbit - the new trailer, when Domhall was blown across the room from the wire near the end, I laughed harder than I care to admit. Duck Duck Goose / Ferdinand / Sherlock Gnomes - I either had my earbuds in or went to the bathroom. A Wrinkle In Time - interested murmurs. I still ADORE that remix of Sweet Dreams. Incredibles 2 - "We're seeing that, right?" "Later." The Frozen "short" - I'm not one of those people who likes Frozen besides two songs, and while this did greatly irritate me, I always did like how they managed to convey the body language of Anna and Elsa's love for each other, even in the full length movie. The Hispanic lady in front of me actually turned to me about ten minutes in and asked if this was supposed to be playing in front. I am right there with you, Ma'am. The movie Every time like a song or setpiece happened, someone - I'm pretty sure was a little kid, would applaud for a few seconds. There was laughter at appropriate times, and Spoiler Near the end, someone said "Oh, ______ died :(" and some happy noises during the reunion. Everyone, every single person, applauded at the end. I think this was the first time since Superman Returns I've been in such a crowd. Edited November 23, 2017 by Morieris
