WrathOfHan
The worst part is those fuckers almost spoiled A Quiet Place while the ads were going. I would've flipped out if they didn't start talking about something else
aabattery
Avengers: Infinity War (IMAX) April 25th, 3:20PM, 100% full Trailers: Deadpool 2 Solo: A Star Wars Story Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Ant-Man and the Wasp Pretty lively audience. Big reacts at some parts, gasps at others. The girl next to me was literally covering her mouth in awe for like 95% of the movie. She gasped at the Marvel Stud10's logo which I thought was a bit much but you do you. 3

Blipsy
Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero April 23, 2:00 Me and a couple other families Trailers Pope Francis: A Man Of His Word (some murmuring, also at least this fit here better than when I saw it before Sherlock Gnomes) Little Women (Eh, whatever.) The Grinch (somebody laughed at the Grinch getting knocked out by the inflatable snowman) Wreck-It Ralph 2 (everyone went NUTS over the final gag) Smallfoot (no real response) Show Dogs (looks awful) The families seemed to enjoy it enough. There was one big laugh from most of them (when Stubby licks his crotch) and one of the kids laughed at a rat getting hit with a ball. I wasn't really anticipating this movie too much, but I ended up enjoying it. A pretty well done mix of kid-friendly WWI drama and cute dog moments. Worth a watch if you're interested in WWI and aren't immediately turned away by it being handled with "kid gloves". Isle Of Dogs April 25, 4:45 Just me. Not surprised. Even the concession stand employee said it wasn't a popular choice here. Trailers The Grinch (trailer looks ok, but after reading the official synopsis, I'm a bit worried) Fantastic Beasts 2 (looks decent, but I never even saw the first and I'm not even a huge Potter fan, so no real interest) Won't You Be My Neighbor? (Looks very interesting, but there's no way it's playing where I live) Show Dogs ("What trailers should we play before this Island Of Dogs thing?" "I don't know, just play that other talking dog trailer, kids can't tell the difference, right?") Can You Forgive Me? (doesn't seem like something I'd rush out to see, but still seems fairly interesting) The Darkest Minds (no real interest) I LOVED THIS MOVIE. I had been looking forward to it since the first trailer came out, but this exceeded even my highest expectations. GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! WrathOfHan
A Quiet Place April 26, 10:45 AM, 5% full in a 78 seat auditorium AMC Lake Square 12 Trailers Upgrade: No Reactions Sicario: Day of the Soldado: No Reactions Hereditary: Murmurs The Darkest Minds: No reactions Tag: Chuckles (this is a trailer that replaced the gangbang stuff and dick joke with Jake Johnson getting coffee all over him) Action Point: No reactions Mission: Impossible - Fallout: No reactions The theater was a quiet place with very little noise. Cap
Avengers: Infinity War 7PM IMAX 95-100% Full Trailers: Solo - A clap at the LucasFilm logo. Loud response. Jurassic World - quietest response of the three. Only big reaction was the “you made me do this line” and I think I heard a lady catcall Jeff Goldbulm/Malcolm at the end Deadpool - biggest initial response. People knew what was coming. Not a lot of laughs, but definitely an excited crowd. Movie: Crowd was eating it up. People were laughing so loud at times I couldn’t hear. Steve Rogers got THE BIGGEST cheer at his intro. That One Reveal got the most insane HOLY SHIT/WHAT THE FUCK reaction. That one casting cameo got a HUGE 😉 reaction. Lots of gasps and cheers during the action. End got a That’s It / What The Hell vibe. Crowd was animated and noisy during the end credits. Tag got a screams. Don’t know how well this is gonna play for a GA audience. The movie is Clearly made for the hardcore audience. Don’t think it will be a TLJ meltdown, but don’t think it will be a runway BP or WW success. YLF
Avenger infinity war 10:30PM IMAX 3D 95-100% Adrift: no reaction really MI:6: got a couple claps Star wars: Got a really rapturous applause. I would say the 2nd best applause Deadpool: This got the biggest applause and claps. Venom: a couple people clapped Jurassic Park: Uhh some claps. not a lot of excitement Crimes of Grinwald: It got a couple claps... not that much Movie: Characters that got the biggest applause: 1. BP characters/wakanda when that showed there was a loud applause. 2. Captain America 3. Spiderman 4. Thor 5. Ironman 6. Guardians characters ... Dr strange got zero applause. no one cared and he was an integral part of the movie. People laughed throughout, so much so that I didnt get to hear a lot of the jokes. People didnt really gasp at anything like most people are saying happened at their screenings... I don't think the general audience was that excited about the ended. There was a "that was it?" vibe. People were mad when the theater employees said it would take 7 minutes to see the end credits scene. People loved the last portion of the scene though. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Life of the Party Isle of Dogs Deadpool 2 The audience was super small, so not a lot of reactions. Unsane April 1, 8:20 PM, 2% full Carbondale 8, Carbondale, IL Trailers Hereditary Traffik Truth or Dare - laughs Sicario: Day of the Soldado - laughs Can You Ever Forgive Me? Tag Disobedience Beirut It was me and two friends. At one point one of us went "It's almost... unsane" and we all laughed but otherwise, we all kinda wanted to watch the new Soderbergh flick in peace, so we did. Black Panther April 6, 7:20 PM, 95% full University Place 8, Carbondale, IL Trailers Uncle Drew Mission: Impossible - Fallout Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Venom - people behind me asked if they were remaking the miniseries, V Deadpool 2 - laughs Rampage Ant-Man and the Wasp Solo: A Star Wars Story A lot less reactive than my premiere audience. Nothing really got a big laugh, but you could tell the audience was pretty into it still. Blockers April 20, 4:45 PM, 20% full University Place 8, Carbondale, IL Trailers (arrived late) Sorry to Bother You Action Point - laughs Venom The Darkest Minds Life of the Party - some laughs Night School - laugh at the end There were laughs throughout the film but I do think it's worth noting that there really wasn't an overall "BIG LAUGH" moment. Still, a solid crowd for a solid movie. Isle of Dogs April 21, 4:05 PM, 65% full Cape West 14, Cape Girardeau, MO Trailers Won't You Be My Neighbor? Christopher Robin The Grinch - during this trailer, a man in his 50s walked in with two kids under the age of five and sat down right next to a couple in their late 60s who were a seat away from me. The older woman loudly sighed and the two got up to look for new seats in a reserved seating theater. The dad/uncle/grandpa tried to tell them the kids would be well-behaved, but they rightfully didn't believe them (I'll get into this later). Throughout this entire trailer, I was invested in this saga, and later I saw that the couple found a seat a row up to the side. Eighth Grade Can You Ever Forgive Me? Those kids were awful, talking throughout the whole thing and asking "Why is the dog crying?" or stuff like that. Thankfully, I could tune them out rather easily. The audience otherwise chuckled at a lot of stuff in the movie, and seemed to enjoy it. Definitely not a kids movie though Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero April 22, 5:15 PM, 15% full Carbondale 8, Carbondale, IL Trailers Show Dogs Pope Francis - A Man of His Word Incredibles 2 Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation The Grinch Smallfoot I'll be honest, this whole thing was a surreal experience and I can't really report on the crowd lol. Avengers: Infinity War April 26, 7:00 PM, 98% full Centre 8, Marion, IL Trailers Adrift Mission: Impossible - Fallout - guy behind me loudly remarked at the end that it was a long trailer Venom Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - very good reaction with laughs at the jokes and a lot of chatter when the title appeared Deadpool 2 - big laughs and general excitement Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - murmurs at the beginning of "Harry Potter!" Incredibles 2 - legit cheers at the first shot of the Parrs and laughter at the jokes. Easily the best reaction I've seen to a trailer in quite sometime, people are hyped for this Solo: A Star Wars Story - this was a nice bathroom break for me I've already posted cheer moments in the spoiler thread, but the crowd was really into it. Big laughs at good moments, some people yelling "No!" at appropriate parts, it was just a good crowd for this movie.

Two moments got gigantic applause (pretty sure a third did too but I'm blanking on what it was), and a lot of the humor had at least 75% of the audience laughing simultaneously. One scene had a lot of the audience murmuring, and there was dead silence for the ending.
