I think MOM with A- level reception will slightly ahead of Thor with A level reception. Thor with A- reception could be significantly behind MOM with A- reception. While Thor does have great initial popularity, MOM was able to create hype in the last couple of weeks (pre reviews) extremely well, not sure if Thor will do the same.

This movie seems like the least connected with all the other MCU storylines so I could see it opening below DS2 but having better WOM. Also Taika Waititi's stock has grown substantially since the last Thor film and is probably among the handful of name brand directors these days, so I could see this having a lot more non-hardcore fan appeal.

Probably equal or higher, although I think DS2 will just barely snag the A-. 

 

Thor does have one issue going against it: it's gonna inevitably be compared with Ragnarok.

Uh, it was Thor Rannarok that caused Waititi's stock to sky rocket.

This movie feels like 170-180 OW. 
Always greedy for absurdly high totals, but big summer adventure, GOTG appearance, possible better reviews… that seems to put it in that in realistic territory. 
Some disappointment for me… 160/360. 
Solid… 170/400

Legs should be better in the summer. I’d think 2.5x at a minimum and more probably 2.7-2.9x

Imagine if Thor (which will almost certainly be much more GA friendly than MoM) pulls a JW-esque run. It’s got a fairly open July.
