People here are saying that the franchise feels purposeless because it's building up to nothing right now, but I think it feels purposeless because of the opposite. They are building up to too many things. There are way too many ongoing threads that it's impossible to make sense of any of it.

This is certainly possible. Building up to Young Avengers, Secret Wars, Defenders Part II, and Thunderbolts all at the same time.

Need to see audience reception, leaning towards no for now.

Even if audience reception is like MoM it would pass 400M bcz of lack of competition in July & August. MCU movies got free run in 2021 & now getting free run in 2022 but they won't be that lucky 2023 onwards as WB will release 4 DCEU movies & Sony will release 3 Marvel movies each year

But what if audience reception is worse than MoM?

Not if the OW is less than $130 million. Or at least I doubt it. It's going to have to have TGM type legs in order to avoid a 45-day D+ release (although they MAY wait until right after the Labor Day holiday).

why you think that? i have a lot of friends in facebook of my country that already seen the movie and all loved it. One says it fixed a common error that mcu films have

Hot take: No Way Home is a Sony Spider-Man movie that disconnects from the MCU and should not be considered in the same listless post-Endgame MCU category as the rest of these movies that have come out in past year.

This stands true just by the virtue of Tony Stark references per hour

The amount of bad reviews with huge score, truly shameless. If this wasn't Marvel, it would have been rotten by now.

You´re really saying critics are kind to Marvel and priorize their movies when this is the fourth of only six movies they release that is getting just ok reviews in barely a year? This was a bad argument back in 2016, it´s even worse now.

It´s weird that is so hard to believe people simply can see problems in a movie and despite recognize them, still think it wasn´t enough to bring down the overall positive experience. Grades isn´t a rule that people have to keep taking a few points every time they see a problem.

As an MCU fan, Critics are surely lenient for MCU.

But that is only because how much MCU was fun for all, even the lower quality movies had enough humour and likeable characters to get them decent ratings.

Eternals had neither character nor humor, and it is rotten.

Although i have absolutely no idea how  Multiverse of Madness is 74 on RT. It's inexplicable except leniency.

Being good isn't an error.

and why you said is not good? because has a low score in sites like metacritic where other taika films like jojo rabbit ( witch won best screenplay oscar) had low score too?
