Krissykins
I’m glad Cats is doing well here at least lol. Noticed it’s keeping its 6 showtimes at my local right through to at least the 9th of January. It could hang on and pass £10m.
Gavin Feng
when will we have top10/20 of 2019?
SchumacherFTW
Just got out from Jojo Rabbit, was pretty busy outside the front 3 rows, hope it's doing well outside of London too.
Krissykins
The Gentlemen opened at #4 on Wednesday but fell below Cats and out of the top 5 by Thursday. Jojo Rabbit wasn’t top 5 on either day.
Jonwo
It'll be interesting to see how 1917 does. I'm thinking £3-4m at the moment but £5m wouldn't surprise me.

I’m actually quite surprised. The trailer has been attached to every film here for what feels like months.
Avatree
Dont think Jojo rabbit is doing particularly badly, more that other films are doing better. out of top 5 does not mean poor performance when it's christmas season. we shall see next week. Heretic
Jumanji has had a fantastic holiday period, almost at $40m. Also, Little Women is doing very well and could leg its way to $20m. Frozen 2 will probably hit $70m, and TROS will probably hit $80m.
cdsacken
Simply incredible that Frozen jumped that much in UK. Currency value is down 20%. I actually lived in England when Frozen came out, went back to America as my wife's contract got canceled. Moved back to UK in 2016 till mid 2019. Her last contract offer was 30k less per year with annual cancellation threat. Edited January 5, 2020 by cdsacken

Heretic
Yeah I agree, pre-sales are looking strong. And with so much award recognition this could turn into a big hit.

Heretic
Damn, that is massive! Around £7.3m. If this wins big at BAFTA’s/Oscars, £30m+ is possible.
