charlie Jatinder
Holy shit. 90M is locked. Not only this film got XMAS & New Year, but it also got almost solo release. Endgame in NWH place would have breezed past $3.2B with 2018 ER. Edited January 7, 2022 by charlie Jatinder

Heretic
1 hour ago, charlie Jatinder said: It may be around 80M by end of weekend. Remember I just estimated £74-75m going into the weekend based on no data at all, but on the assumption that after Monday (which was a bank holiday), it should have been around the £72m mark. Taking the middle ground of £74.5m, and a 50% drop from last weekend, it would be at £77.5m by Sunday. I think £90m is a bit of stretch at this point until we see how it holds up. EDIT: Didn’t see the £74.8m actual on the previous page, so I guess my estimate was spot on. But yeah, £85m looks almost certain at this point. £90m, we’ll see. I mean, like 2.5% of the population will be more than 2 sigma cautious, which is pretty cautious! By end of the run the effect should be like £2M+ imo though obviously it’s quite difficult to measure. Definitely agree on that, I know personally that I’d definitely have seen it multiple times by now if it weren’t for Covid, but as things are, I masked up and nervously saw it once on opening weekend and that’s it. Shanks
I tried to compare NWH with multiple films but there are no movies whose January is this empty. TFA Endgame TROS NTTD No Way Home OW £33.90 £43.40 £20.86 £25.90 £31.90 1st Week £55.70 £55.00 £30.12 £37.40 £46.4 2nd W-end £65.86 £69.30 £39.44 £52.60 £51.01 2nd Week £87.03 £76.03 £46.94 £60.20 £63.70 3rd W-end £97.34 £80.44 £51.33 £68.50 £69.80 3rd Week £102.38 £81.76 £53.07 £73.30 £74.80 4th W-end £108.38 £83.99 £54.89 £77.97 4th Week £110.77 £84.89 £55.58 £82.40 5th W-end £113.91 £85.79 £56.48 £85.91 5th Week £115.25 £86.49 £56.83 £87.83 5th W-end £117.25 £86.98 £57.38 £89.80 Final £123.20 £88.70 £58.30 £96.60 1. If it follow's TROS's drop, it will make 10% more leading it to £82.25m. 2. The only MCU movie which it could be compared now is Endgame but Endgame dropped too hard similar to IW after it's 3rd Weekend because of Pikachu then fell to 3rd position next Week because of John Wick 3. Even then, it made around 8m so, Let's take those numbers only because NWH can do it with no competition ahead taking cume to £83m. 3. Comparing to TFA, if somehow it follows those drops from now on, we get astounding 20% more gross, taking NWH's total to roughly £89-£90m. 4. Comparing to NTTD wasn't a wise choice but somehow NWH has been keeping up with it. Maybe maybe, by sheer luck and lack of competition will let NWH gross what NTTD grossed after 3rd Week.... that will take us to £96m and Even if NWH can only gross HALF of it, It's total cume would reach £86m. Nice job ! on the other hand you have reversed the total of NTTD and TROS With that, 82M seems like locked with a great possibility of 85M

Mya be 4M 4th weekend. TFA legged 2.47x after its 4th weekend. Same for NWH will be 88.68. Yeah I went optimistic with saying 90 is locked. 90 is probably likely with lack of competition for two months.

Krissykins
Is Spider-Man No Way Home the highest grossing film not to be the biggest of its year? Still a long way to go before we hit pre-pandemic levels again, but it’s a nice boost over 2020 at least. Universal and Sony, unsurprisingly, the two highest grossing studios of the year:
charlie Jatinder
Wish we had admission data. Germany ATP of Spider-Man is lower than NTTD. Wonder if UK is too because just in case it get close in gross, we may have different topper in admissions.
