31 - 1.5

1 - 1.2

2 - 1.5 // 4.2 3rd wknd - 64.5m

Rest say 2.1-2.2x 3rd wknd for ~73m-75m finish. Ofc, if CoVID guideline come for post XMAS, whenever it release wont nearly do anything close.

So, 99m USD?

5.6M 2nd weekend as per Sony.

Unless some error, a lot better than what I expected.

So that would be around £52m as of Sunday. If so that is excellent

Are you saying we can touch 100m USD then?

No new covid restrictions in England before new year

Seems like they're trying not to have any at all, as I imagine this wave should burn out in the next 2-4 weeks. So if you're not going to do it now, they probably won't at all.

Why not just require masks inside the cinema and only allow people who already fully vaccinated enter? Many countries are doing that. At worst, can apply the capacity restriction.

Has it worked? Or is this just another feel-good measure they're gonna put in place to be seen to be doing something?

If you consider that they randomly brought back mask-wearing despite four months of no masks and no associated surge in cases, this government seems to be acting very rashly and they don't really care if there is any scientific evidence for what they're doing (I mean, they allowed vaccinations for 12-to-15-year-olds against the recommendation of their own scientific advisors - let's not forget how damaging this is for the "Follow the science" mantra). At this point, rolling a die would be better at predicting what restrictions might be put in place than looking at the data. Therefore, I don't expect them to relax stuff much and we could see more restrictions soon.

I think the 1st will be above 31st, as cinemas will be less busy in the evening on NYE. 2nd should also be big, and the 3rd is a bank holiday. 4th is back to school/work, at which point I’m thinking it’ll be around £67-68m
