I guess not then. Yeah, going to the cinema generally seems to be low priority on the big Christmas holiday dates in the UK, it’s nothing like the US where Christmas Day is massive. The idea of going to a cinema on Christmas Day would be completely alien to the UK, and I hope it never catches on here because cinema staff deserve at least one day off. I think the main reason is that people are too hungover/full of food from Christmas Day to venture out of the house. There are some cinemas which are open Christmas Day like the cinemas in LS and those in high Asian populations but it’d never be widespread.
