Jonwo
Who is the distributor of Moonfall in the UK? I'm guessing it's not one of the big studios as they normally don't get into disputes with the cinema chains.

I think that was down to the 70mm version being exclusive to Odeon Leicester Square when Cineworld wanted to show it at Picturehouse Central. Still weird that they told them to do one over that

Krissykins
Sing 2 was huge. ~£6.9m the No. 1 UK start of $9.3M. That’s the market’s best animation debut of virus times and the third-biggest overall since 1917 launched in January 2020. The Saturday haul was bigger than the combined revenue of the other Top 10 titles by over 20%. That same day gave Sing 2 the best Saturday for an animated title since Frozen II in November 2019. £6.19m total for Scream.

Jonwo
I knew Sing 2 would do well but not that well, I guess parents and kids were hungry for new content. Will be interesting to see who wins out between Death on the Nile and Uncharted, my guess is Death on the Nile just because it's Agatha Christie. Cooper Legion
89.8 cume is better than I expected. I’d take the over on Spectre.
Krissykins
That’s huge for Sing 2, the third biggest of the whole pandemic, and a great hold for Belfast (-18%). Spider-Man -21% Scream -38%. Jackass and Moonfall on Friday.
Mr Roark
£89.8M for Spidey means it grossed £2.33M over the last seven days, for a roughly -30% compared to the previous seven days. Doing a quick math if it keeps doing exactly like this it will take 5 weeks to best Avatar hitting £94.1M.

XXRDJisDoctorDoom
The fact that NWH beat Endgame here but couldn’t domestically means the US didn’t pull its weight.

No, it means the UK didn't pull it's weight -- for endgame. But we already knew that.

If EG had released in December 2021 and not NWH, it probably does £110-115M.
