Entertainment Film Distributors. Once upon a time they released Lord Of The Rings in the UK :o

I think they had a dispute with Cineworld and a few other cinema chains over The Hateful Eight a few years back so they have form for doing this.

I think that was down to the 70mm version being exclusive to Odeon Leicester Square when Cineworld wanted to show it at Picturehouse Central. Still weird that they told them to do one over that

Sing 2 was huge. ~£6.9m

the No. 1 UK start of $9.3M. That’s the market’s best animation debut of virus times and the third-biggest overall since 1917 launched in January 2020. The Saturday haul was bigger than the combined revenue of the other Top 10 titles by over 20%. That same day gave Sing 2 the best Saturday for an animated title since Frozen II in November 2019.

£6.19m total for Scream.

I knew Sing 2 would do well but not that well, I guess parents and kids were hungry for new content.

Will be interesting to see who wins out between Death on the Nile and Uncharted, my guess is Death on the Nile just because it's Agatha Christie.

35% weekly drops lead to 95M.

30% weekly drops lead to 96.2M.

Never thought MCU will come close to beat Bond. Hail the DEC-JAN. EG in DEC-JAN was 100M+ with ease.

Hmm yea most likely. If EG had released in December 2021 and not NWH, it probably does £110-115M.

Last week he said NWH might’ve had a shot to best Skyfall. Now he says it’s gonna be hard to best Avatar…

NWH is keep on exceeding expectations and it will hit £97M imo.
