Fake
Did QoS benefit from holidays at any point of time?

Fake
Did QoS's first Mon-Sun benefit from it?
Heretic
No. It opened on the weekend when half term ended, so the first Monday would have been the start of school/work.
Jonwo
I expect this weekend it will have a small drop, there's nothing big opening and Silent Hill and Fun Size will flop. Halloweens on Wednesday so there could be some impact but I imagine it'll be minimal.
SchumacherFTW
Just watching Top Gear's celebration of 50 year of Bond cars. It's up to Skyfall now, and i'm pissed that I still haven't seen it now.
JCS
I doubt it was low, there's a limit to how much you make if you sell them all out. It probably didn't help having a bloody opera screening on saturday evening. Of course the BFI Imax did not have a low gross but it is rather far down in the charts of top cinemas for Skyfall! It is like OLS with few shows but a huge screen. They had an opera show on Saturday evening!?! Daft planning and that probably lost BFI Imax a lot of gross!
JCS
Off to see Skyfall again soon and this evening/tonight's shows here are almost all sold out!
SchumacherFTW
I doubt it cost them much, mainly as the tickets start at £25 for those shows I think.
Jonwo
Cinemas do schedule things like opera but it usually scheduled well in advance and because its live, it can't be rescheduled or cancelled for a film. It does do well, IIRC Phantom of the Opera at the Albert Hall did £700,000 and that was only released on one day.

Jessie
So this run is looking like the equivalent of TDK in the US, only on a much grander scale. Nice
