Just done with IT2, it looked like a fantasy drama like a harry potter movie, starring pennywise as villian with some element of horror. 

 

Overall satisfying but lack of scary moment got me dull,

So it held to the studios expectations, no doubt let the die hards down who were predicting over $100m OW.

 

I'm curious to see the second weekend drop. Does it hold well like Chapter One or is it more front loaded and drops 60%. I feel it could be the latter.

Estimates were bang on. 

 

Great opening weekend for a horror and September release, but definitely a little disappointing coming off the $123.4M opening of the first one. Hopefully this at least has good legs.

Far lower opening and more importantly a different times of the year.  Those August multipliers (especially in a wasteland of no other sizable big films)...
