It really astounds how much Sony wants their own Spider-Man universe yet keep fumbling at practically every turn. Just giving the keys to all the wrong people I guess. This seems like it's going to be lucky to even approach Dark Phoenix/Morbius numbers, never mind The Marvels.

It’s because they don’t really care about the Spider-Man IP  and have no plans. They are just throwing s**** at the wall hoping it works.

she could not be happy with the movie, but she likes playing the character. Totally nonsense to think she tries to forget this when she literally bought  and read all the julia carpenter comics appearences. At this point she is probably hoping  to get the call for secret wars, since again she read and bought all the comics and julia debuted in a secret wars comic. Like really, thinking just for one second, seeing gardner returning as elektra after playing the character in one of the most infamous CB movie ever, is logical for her to think there's releastic chances for a secret wars return

Yeah, but Elektra was decades ago so there's at least some nostalgia there.

but anson mount in multiverse of madness was not nostalgia. Feige just choose the characters and actors he likes to return. He really hates the inhumans show but liked the mount performance .  If sydney has passion to return and his character fits in a secret wars movie she can easily return

This...this has got to be a trimmed down clip right? There's no way a major theatrical release is edited like this.

It's a clip, not a full scene. So yeah, it's heavily edited.

There are examples of clips being edited down for late night stuff  before but it's not usually just completely incoherent like this. This feels like it's missing half the footage that's supposed to be in it

We'll know tomorrow whether that clip was an accurate indicator of the consensus of the overall movie, but as of now, poor clip editing is not gonna get people excited. And even now, there's too much silliness in that clip.
