Calling it.

Somehow they are going to need raise money for that amusement park for the IF's and they put on a talent show meanwhile some villain is trying to destroy the talent show because he believes his IF abandoned him when in all reality that didn't happen and they will eventually make up and he will help save the talent show at the last moment. This will be the real prequel to Foster's.

Was at least hoping this film would be sincere but I see they're going for the "reddit movie for babies" approach.

The trailer itself seemed sincere as you put it. I'm not sure you should equate a marketing action with the movie itself, but I guess we'll see how it turns out.

I do hope we get something heartfelt out of it.

I’ve seen people complain when movies aren’t “sincere”, and I have zero clue what that means. From what I can gather, a movie is sincere when it doesn’t do jokes? It’s weird. I don’t get it.

Personally, I think it's about not undercutting the emotion with jokes. It's about not being afraid to have a real genuine emotional moment without a different character saying something like "That's nice, I feel hungry, what's for lunch". Letting the emotional moment linger. Jokes are fine, great even, it's overdoing the jokes that is the issue.

Don’t know if this is his last last movie, but it will be bittersweet to hear his voice in this now. :(

IMDb says he had 4 other movies in production or post-production.

I really, REALLY want this to be good. The fact that it's got a prime summer release makes me slightly confident that it'll be more Free Guy and less Lyle Lyle Crocodile. But that poster doesn't look great.
