Weekend Thread: Actuals - Mal2 $19.4M | Joker $19.2M | Adam's Family 12M | Zombieland $11.8M | Countdown $8.9M | Black & Blue $8.4M

I'm guessing Maleficent will pull ahead for #1 since family movies benefit from Saturday/Sunday more.

Gemini Man is gonna barely cross $45M total at this point. It's unfortunate that Will Smith is back to nonstarters after scoring one of his biggest hits ever with Aladdin earlier this year. Spies in Disguise and the belated Bad Boys sequel don't seem like they'll fare much better either.

OOps. I got too excited at the prospect of yet another Par flop.

Well you might get one next weekend (if the  apparent overseas numbers are anything to go on) so you won't have to wait too long!

FWIW I think Terminator opens with around $30M next weekend (the other three openers - Arctic Dogs, Harriet, Motherless Brooklyn - are all dumps and will perform like ones).

Terminator sub-$30m. No hype

Solid if diminutive Fridays. That early weekend Deadline put out for Mal2 never made sense so I am glad to see the reality is very different. Still headed for a 50% drop with previews factored in but overall not too bad.

Joker is not surprisingly holding well. Will be happy to see it cross the 300m line.

Are the early OS numbers for Dark Fate that bad? I haven't checked.
