William (Billy) Maximoff, Wanda's son is single.

Billy Maximoff. Wanda's gay brother which @Wondy talked about

https://marvelhigh.fandom.com/wiki/Billy_Maximoff

William is Billy.

He was born to Wanda as William but reborn as Billy.

Also Tommy is Bi, and David/Prodigy is Bi, and America Chavez is a lesbian who flirts with Kate/Hawkeye, and Loki is genderqueer. So basically

Young Avengers = Queer Avengers.

which is why I can’t waaaaaaaaait.

Tommy is not that important in comics. I haven't read many but he is more of a side character.

Hope they give him better storyline in MCU.

Ep 5 has dropped to 9.3, where it should stay. Leaves a bit more room for increasing trend to continue.

Marvel can never score like Star Wars because of DC rivalry.

Atleast for Mandalorian 99% of fanbase was united.

Marvel movies and same goes for DC movies are mostly reviewed negatively by rivals.

Mandalorian's early episodes were more appealing to general audiences. 9.3 for an episode beats most of Mando season 1, I think only the finale got that rating.

Always subtract half a point for haters. Take off another point if the movie is labeled as “woke” by 4chan lol.

Disagreed. You have some blind 1s and some blind 10s, not much sign of systematic bias here on net. First eps are low because they really didn’t work for an appreciable portion of the GA.

actually, fans spamming is cancelled by haters spamming, so take it as it is I suppose 😛

yes and no

lets say the fan-free rating is 8.5

fans rate 10, haters rate 1

way more fans have to rate to counter the haters

(edit: generally counting, not specific for IMDb)

Usually CBMs are fan loaded. Though agree on that more 10s are needed to cancel one 1.

But those 10 don't cancel 1s. I have noticed this always not only with Marvel and DC.

But in India also where actors' fandom usually fight a lot and manipulate rating.

Wandavision overall IMDb ratings at the end will be around 7.8-8.5 depending upon how final is recieved.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if there is a discourse at the end for some obvious reasons. People have very high expectations now, I will love it anyway but some popular theories are wild.

Doesn't Imdb discount 1s and 10s to some extent anyway?

hence why I added the IMDb line.

It‘s not completely done that way, an example is, a small group, but very heavily counting is their top 1000 rater group, that is too full of fanatics (IMHO not even 1 should be there, IMDb knows it, it shouldn‘t be that difficult to find an algorithm to exclude fanatics of that kind), incl anti-MCU, anti ‚woke‘, anti female, and rather pro racism, pro one sided Christian narrow minded religious,...

They love to give 1 to 3 stars then, a few tend to give every genre... movie less, as those ‘can not be good’.

Was in the past even worse, see at times the IMDb message boards were still open, more constant logged in users active in....

but those did not arrive in big numbers at WandaVision yet, and might not, as it might not provoke the most of them beside a few religious fanatics who downrate all what is eg magic, pro... whatever

edit:

but to counter with fans is even more difficult if the fan-free rating would be 8.5, if too many 10 are kicked out, and all the eg 2-5 of haters in the know of that rule are still there

Isn't secret the formula they use ? Anyway in this example only 12 of the 2,700 1/10 vote are from the top 1000 rater group, probably irrelevant.

We have little idea of much weight imdb give to a 1 too, maybe it take only 1.5 -10/10 score to cancel one 1

For example:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9140560/ratings?demo=imdb_users

The uncorrected average is 6.825 after going through IMDB weighting it goes to 7.0

If you remove all 12 1/10 score and remove 12 of the 10/10, you get a 7.15 score, if you remove 15 of the 10/10 score you go down to 7.06

Removing 12 of the 0 is balanced if you remove 15 10/10 and 3 9/9, so it is probably a bit less than 1.5 10/10 for each 1/10 in that example.
