Is this movie gonna be eligible for the Oscars with so many white men in it?

Touch and go on this, there may be a surprise or two with real historical people being changed on ethnicity or gender to gain more OSCAR credentials, MR NOLAN is a smart fellow so you may be surprised and blown away when the film comes out.

Imagine the social media reactions if the Oscar reject a movie base on the ethnicity of the cast, it'd be hilarious, and probably the beginning of the end for that ceremony being relevant.

I mean, they are never gonna be upfront about it. You can speculate but they will never admit it. Eg. Brokeback Mountain vs. Crash

Isn’t that new diversity rule for Oscar eligibility so broad that it doesn’t even make much of a difference?

Yes I think there are different pathways to meeting the requirements, including internships and such for underrepresented groups. You’ll bet Universal has it covered.

For the new Oscar diversity guidelines there are 4 rules and a film only needs to pass 2 of them. The first is about the actors, which the film won't pass. The second is about the crew, which the film does pass, since it requires minimum of two HoD roles to be from underrepresented groups, and they count women as one of those groups, so Jennifer Lame as the editor and the costume designer, production designer etc are female so they're covered there. The next two are about internships and marketing which they've probably covered I guess, these rules were announced a while ago.

90%+ of whatever Oppenheimer is gonna collect in India is mostly due to Nolan's brand...these kind of movies barely collect $1M in full run in India whereas Oppenheimer is on track to collect more than that on opening day

wow, india seems like nolan so much. is he the most popular director there or cameron ? also how much oppenheimer can get in the weekend with that much presale ?
