Seems like $75-85M opening weekend internationally. Full run may be $225-250M. 

It has do more than that if it's to breakeven. At least BW had 125m+ PA to look forward to with disney getting a bigger percentage of that money.

This doesn't have that. Dom ain't fully reliable just yet .

If a film loses money it has lost money  really don't know what you mean by mcu films are beyond breaking even or not.

 

That being  said personally still think  it will barely breakeven.

Eternals costs 200M. If we go by 2.5x, it needs 500M to break even. Ans there's no way to reach that with 250M OS

Sure it will make its money back with streaming, PVOD and other markets. 

But not with box office

this is just a general rule but it differs for every film.

 

Since Eternals isn't releasing in China, even $400M will have them recover the budget. besides box office isn't only revenue source to recover the budget to make it the criteria for success.

 

What a film need to do is, first recover its release cost by box office revenue and then make contribution to recover the budget.

 

There is TV/SVOD and Home Media revenue, that alone can recover budget sometimes.

No it's because the % studios get from China's BO is much less than in other territories.

3rd best of the year after DUNE (4.465 tickets) and NTTD (3.932 tickets). Shang-Chi sold 2.882 tickets and Black Widow did 2.800

How does it compare to other mcu .

It started at 3.7 and now it's at 3.9 so it's rising, it's good WOM. For example, Venom 2 has 2.2 and Dune which had great WoM is at 4.3

Isn't it opening almost everywhere. Is there any big market left(lets ignore China where its not going to release). 3x legs seems high for MCU movie.

Russia left as for legs if memory serves 2,5-3 legs is normal for mcu in os markets

May be around $10-15M worth market get release later, but Europe is leggier than US, and that's the one contributing higher these days.
