Given the complete lack of followup from trades, I think the most likely explanation here is that someone misinterpreted a comment at cinemacon that just used 1.9 as a rounded figure.

I think it is legitimate. It opened in Phillipines after the last update and we know how big of a market it is for MCU.

Well take in account that they stopped updating the international total at the end of March and now we are at the start of June, at least in the end they remembered and fixed it. The same cannot be said for No Time to Die which have stopped updating a month and a half before the end of its run, or also recent titles such as Scream 5 and Morbius which are missing a few million from the gross outside of North America
