Did another scan of DON'T WORRY DARLING, I'm no Jatinder, but the regular Thursday pre-opens look way better than a teens opening.

Based on what I'm seeing in the Salt Lake Valley, I'd say that mid 20's is the floor, with the caveat that there appears to be a split developing, with significantly more demand in the SL urban area than the suburbs. If I was just looking at Salt Lake proper, I'd be on the $30M train, easy.

Don't Worry Darling Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-8 and Counting

Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold
TOTALS 0 36 816 6980 11.69%

Comp

4.364x of The Lost City T-8 (14.18M)

So I wanted to start this yesterday, but today was really bad for me personally, so I'm off a day. But we're still here. And to clarify, a good majority of these tickets come from the Monday IMAX Live showings. But even if you take that out, we're still at 279 tickets sold, which is still nearly 1.5 times Lost City at the same point in time. This right here is the real deal mah bois.

Just want to note that from spot checking some other markets, it looks like Philly may be an outlier/overindex with comps pointing to $2M+ in previews. Also, sales are (perhaps unsurprisingly) atypically distributed within those markets, in terms of how locations rank vs usual pecking order

With that said, Thursday sales are solid enough that $20M is on the table, as even say $1.6M/13x or $1.7M/12x would get there (I honestly don't have a good read on IM, other than expecting at something in double digits).

And it sure does look like DWD's negative publicity tour has helped raise awareness and interest

Previews start at 3 PM so I am not expecting a 13x previews to weekend ratio, and more like 11-11.5x.

Also, BO on their weekend article mention that The Women King is overindexing and that if you look at more markets the presales are more muted.

However, I am more hopefull for a 17-19M OW now which would be fine. 20M would be perfect but I am thinking a lot of States simply won't show up for this.

Woman King Harkins T-1 Day

THU - 358/29570 (109 showings) - $4106

0.16x Bullet Train - $750K
0.12x Nope - $770K
0.25x Crawdads - $600k

2.93x Beast - $2.7M
3.44x Invitation - $2.6M
2.12x Barbarian - $1.9M

Sales are too high for recent titles while not that high as compared to summer mid-range opener titles. Likely will open around $1.5-2M previews, but may be it surprises in a big way and go for mid 2s.

FRI sales are also good.

That See How They Run projection is so depressing. Was hoping for at least like $4m?? There's 0 reason this pretty well reviewed, fun looking murder mystery shouldn't be able to manage that
