Don't think it's all that great of a comp, but since all the cool kids are doing it, added FB3 to the comp block.   FWIW, HP/FB is pretty popular in these parts (once again, something something Sacto SciFi/Fantasy something something), so that might help a tad with the comp.

 

Not gonna add anything before Dune though, as I think the ATP difference is just gonna be too stark.  Well that and that replacement Cinemark that opened last November is also skewing things enough that as a one-two punch I just don't want to go that far back, even if the comps might be of interest.  Hell, only reason I'm still comping Dune is its PLF skew should keep it in the relative ballpark even with the rise in ATP from Oct '21 to now.  At the very least I'm gonna be looking at the PLF ratios locally between those two flicks as something of a weather vane to just how much I should be adjusting for all of the 3D PLF tickets at the final comp.

Do we know how long will A2 got to keep its IMAX screen? The major competition to A2 seem to be on week 9 when it face Antman 3 but I know on and off IMAX will give some special treatment run to a lot of niche movie too.

You mean awareness, interest is slightly higher. And like with many other online polls and surveys this is not really indicative of BO potential. For instance both Creed and Scream have much higher awareness and interest than Ant Man and Shazam but there is no way the former 2 will outgross the latter 2.

Running them full time I'd guess probably 3 or 4 weeks? After that it'll lose them, maybe pop back if there's nothing else or share them I'd wager. Won't get 10 weeks without IMAX competition like the last one did.
