How bad does a film need to be before calling its quality into question is not considered condescending? As said, not the type of film I am interested into. I only read about a very big difference in ratings per gender for this film too, as several other movies either aimed at women or with females as leads and such too had to 'endure'. Acc to that article its a 6.5/10 to 7/10 movie for 'neutral' to the theme and a less than 5/10 for the antis. Based on your question I just did take a look at IMDb, and the ratings there seem to confirm that. Acc to those ratings (edit to add: ignoring a certain group of ratings) it seems to be a lowish mid-quality movie - far from the worst ever 😉 Acc the insidekinoforum it does seem to get ~ positive reactions (as in not negative, I did not reread that for this post, only out of the back of my mind) also from the accompanying men. = I have still no idea how to judge it, after reading the summary I still find myself not interested enough to watch a trailer or whatever. I think it got mentioned about too long not a movie / a few movies certain women feel like its for them or so. Whyever they like it, there seems to be a need for it of it wouldn't have increased since last week I guess. If too hungry... I guess sometimes a not perfect movie has to fill the need for now. Nothing wrong with a Currywurst / Pommes thing in between instead of a fine meal = hence my reaction. keysersoze123
At least Endgame is doing better than Mark's predictions(210K). Is the weather really good this weekend? Does this mean next weekend drops would be better?

DDef not the weather to spend the time in a cinema in my POV, but son and friends will meet in an hour for a 5 or 6 ppl sized group and finally watch AEG (he is the only one who has already seen it, then with me). Exams for some, difficulty to find a common day.... and such Upcoming week some mixed weather in Bavaria as far as I remember the weather report, but way more warm (not hot) than the last couple of weeks or so. I think beside one day mostly around 20°Celcius.

terrestrial
Son (who just got back from the cinema) just pointed out: soccer finale was yesterday (Saturday), means that might have been a reason for the last few weeks in general too = more 'girl movie' tickets, less... Just a thought, not based on further reading up or so.

terrestrial
I am always wondering: where does the term soccer even come from? Not the location, but the root of the word? The only similar term in a way I know is soccage, but can not imagine that that is the 'root' of the term. Socks maybe, bcs showing them??? Officially its said its a ~ shortened version of 'Association', bur I can not 'hear' soccer in it (even id excluding the -er at the end), and as sometimes the 'official' version has no clue about local dialect (as I see here in my surrounding repetedly e.g. per wrong renamings/moderniztion of street names that are based on wrong ssumptions and as such done wrong) I m not sure see I can not 'hear' it Maybe a mix?

When the er was added on the end the soft c in Asocc became a hard c - hence the enunciation of socker - the harder ker sound in English is more prevalent than the softer cer sound at the end of words,
cdsacken
I called it soccer as child for shame. I played from 4-18. I was ok, my cousin was awesome. Full ride for college and grad school and played for the under 18 national team. I was sad he didn't go pro but he got a better job offer away from it. Best choice in the end. Wick does good. Godzilla does weirdly got at my local cinema. Rocketman most likely won't get close to BR. Dark Phoenix will crash epically. And they start presales 5 weeks ahead, that's so early. And selling for the shows of the first week starts the monday before, so basically three days before OD.
