ThatWaluigiDude
On wednesday Avatar 2 have passed R$200M and the first movie's admissions, but also got down to 2nd place for the first time to Puss in Boots, and on thursday, to third for Puss and M3gan. We will probably see a 3-way race to the top of these 3 movies for the final weekend.

Next weekend we will release Plane, A Man Called Otto, Tár, A Última Festa and The Devil's Conspiracy. In the mid-week we will also have BTS - Yet to Come. Might not do this every week but I thought it would be interesting to add once in a while. January saw a total of R$140M on box office, an increase of more than 37% from last year, starting 2023 with a right foot. Puss took the lead from Avatar for the first time, ending Avatar's 6-week long victory. Plane finally had its full release thought it is hard to say if the half-month previews helped or hurt it, Otto had a good start, Tár failed to enter the top 10 while Fabelmans had an increase in tickets per screen, but it still got down due to lesser screenings this weekend. M3gan is getting real close to selling 1 million tickets and it might get there as soon as next weekend if it manages to do a sub 50% drop. Next weekend we will see the release of Knock at the Cabin, The Banshees of Inisherin, The Amazing Maurice, Project Gemini, Hut, Porto and the re-release of EEAAO.
ThatWaluigiDude
BTS: Yet to Come made R$2.4M on wednesday, best single day of the week. With really strong pre-sales for this weekend, there is a very real chance BTS will take the 1st place this weekend.

EDIT: never mind that now that the next Cinema Week is announced legs might slow down as people will wait for the cheaper prices next weekend.
