Lucas
It's already got more reviews in the green on MetaCritic than Spiral or Jigsaw

Lucas
Seems to be going down fine with a few of the non-fans. EDIT: Now a 3/5 from the Telegraph (Robbie Collin), NME and Metro. Edited September 28, 2023 by Lucas

SnokesLegs
I’m looking forward to Friday, but people saying this is “the best Saw film” must be riding a hype wave, I can’t believe for a second that it’ll be better than the original. I watched Saw 1 recently and it holds up insanely well.

TomThomas
86% 21 Reviews 6.5/10 avg Fresh 18 Rotten 3 Probably the best critics reception Saw movie ever had by far, at least so far. Lucas
Yeah with 21 reviews and an equally strong Top Critics % and avg this is probably gonna survive as fresh. EDIT: This is just madness Edited September 28, 2023 by Lucas 1
Blaze Heatnix
A fresh Saw movie wasn't in my bingo card...lol Why are critics enjoying a 10th movie of a franchise where even the fantastic Saw 1 was rotten? While I never cared about critics ( I'm a huge Saw fan ), I'm really curious about this.
CoolioD1
tbh I did sense that a kind of ironic appreciation of the Saws was happening among film people on twitter in the last couple months so I'm not really shocked. It's probably not markedly better than the best entries but people are ready to "reclaim" it.
eman92
Wow this is truly nuts, at best I was thinking maybe it could do low 50's. This is really an amazing thing we're seeing here. I'm sure the score is going to drop, probably into the 60's maybe??? I've already seen The Creator go from like 85% to 75%. But holy shit what a crazy turn of events! PLEASE HELP BOOST THE BOX OFFICE

True, Cary chopping his foot off is unintentionally hilarious thanks to his acting choices 😂

But the rest would not have gotten QUITE the vitriolic response they got, critics today are a lot less hostile towards horror. Hell, Terrifier 2 got good reviews! eman92
Largest release for a Saw film. I'm really hoping this does well at the box office. PLEASE!
